MONO RAIL STRUCTURE

An aluminium monorail solar module mounting structure is a lightweight, high-strength support system designed to mount photovoltaic (PV) panels on a single continuous aluminium rail, typically manufactured from extruded aluminium alloy grades such as 6005-T5 or 6063-T6 for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The structure comprises aluminium monorails, vertical support posts or brackets, module mounting mid-clamps and end-clamps, splice connectors, and stainless-steel fasteners (SS304/SS316), ensuring long-term structural stability with minimal maintenance. It is engineered to withstand site-specific wind, seismic, and dead loads while maintaining the required module tilt angle and orientation for optimum solar energy generation. The monorail configuration reduces material usage, installation time, and overall system weight compared to conventional dual-rail structures, making it suitable for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
